Learning Objective:  Protect Customer Information and Bank Reputation

Annual Security Awareness Education is required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) as part of a bank’s efforts to safeguard customer information.  Such education is also imperative to preserving a bank’s reputation and customer trust.

To maintain compliance with federal and state banking laws, regulations, and guidelines, this online, on-demand Security Awareness Education session will allow bank employees to view the session on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.  The session allows one to pause and play, setting the pace as desired.

Once the session is complete, there will be an online test to reinforce the lessons learned.  After completing the session and the test, one will receive a personalized certificate of completion, suitable for framing.

Great for new employee orientation or annual education for current employees, the 26-minute session covers information security fundamentals, key terms, and risk mitigation in plain English so employees can better understand their roles and the confidential nature of their jobs.

The knowledge gained will better prepare bank employees to serve as the bank’s first line of defense in thwarting cybercriminals, maintaining safeguards over customer information, and remaining the bank of choice for our customers.
